About Pteris semipinnata L.
Pteris semipinnata L. is a fern species that belongs to subfamily Pteridoideae of the family Pteridaceae. It is distributed primarily across tropical regions, including southern China, Taiwan, the Philippines, Vietnam, Laos, Thailand, Myanmar, Malaysia, Sri Lanka, and northern India. This species also occurs in Japan's Ryukyu Islands and in Bhutan. Pteris semipinnata grows at elevations below 900 meters above sea level, in open forests, on acidic soil near streams or around rocks.
