Psococerastis gibbosa (Sulzer, 1776) is a species of Psocoptera belonging to the family Psocidae. This species occurs in Great Britain and Ireland, and is also common across Austria, Benelux, Bulgaria, Croatia, Finland, France, Germany, Hungary, Italy, Latvia, Poland, Romania, Spain, Switzerland, and Scandinavia. Individuals of this species are yellowish-black and have stripes. In terms of habitat and feeding, Psococerastis gibbosa feeds on ash, beech, birch, blackthorn, elder, hawthorn, hazel, larch, oak, pine, and sallow. It will sometimes feed on apples.
