About Pseudorhiza haeckeli Haacke, 1884

Pseudorhiza haeckeli Haacke, 1884 has a round bell with raised, warty lumps on its upper surface, and a cross-shaped internal structure inside the bell. No tentacles are present on this organism. Four arms curve around the bottom of the bell, and a long, colourful tail trails below the bell. Both the bell and arms are moderately transparent. The maximum diameter of the bell is 40 cm. Tail length differs between individuals because the tail may be in a stage of regeneration.
