About Pseudophoenix sargentii H.Wendl. ex Sarg.

Pseudophoenix sargentii H.Wendl. ex Sarg. typically grows near the sea, in sandy or limestone soils. This palm produces a ringed trunk, grows to 8 metres tall and up to 30 centimetres in diameter, and is often slightly swollen. Its yellowish flowers are arranged in loose, widely spaced clusters. This is a visually attractive palm. It is cultivated through the specialty horticulture trade, and sold as an ornamental palm for private gardens, habitat gardens, and many types of municipal, commercial, and agency sustainable landscape and restoration projects.
