The snout–vent length of male Pseudopaludicola falcipes ranges from 13.5–16.0 mm (0.53–0.63 in), while the snout–vent length of females ranges from 14.7–18.1 mm (0.58–0.71 in). This species displays extensive variation in both dorsal coloration patterns and morphology. Pseudopaludicola falcipes is a common and abundant species. It occurs in natural grasslands and also in cultivated rice plantations. This frog breeds in temporary pools and ditches. It adapts well to disturbed habitats, and is not considered threatened due to its wide distribution.
