About Pseudoedophrys hilleri (Faust, 1889)

Pseudoedophrys is a genus of oriental broad-nosed weevils belonging to the beetle family Curculionidae. Only one species within this genus has been described so far, which is Pseudoedophrys hilleri. This species originally comes from Japan, and it is currently found in eastern North America. In 2006, P. hilleri was moved from the genus Oedophrys into the newly established genus Pseudoedophrys.
