About Pseudobiceros gloriosus Newman & Cannon, 1994

Pseudobiceros gloriosus has a flat, elongated, and quite large body. Its base body color is black with a velvety texture. The body margin is decorated with distinct color bands: a wide orange inner band, a narrow pink middle band, and a dark burgundy outer rim. Only an orange line is present on the pseudotentacles. Some larger individuals may have a narrow pink median line, which begins near the cerebral eyespots and ends before the posterior body margin. The longitudinal median line of the body is slightly raised, and the species has two square pseudotentacles that bear a small number of eyes. The cerebral eyespot cluster contains around 200 eyespots, and this species has a long pharynx with simple folds.
