About Pseudalbara parvula Leech, 1890

Pseudalbara parvula is a species of moth that belongs to the family Drepanidae. It was first described by John Henry Leech in 1890. This moth is found in multiple regions of China, including Zhejiang, Fujian, Hubei, Hunan, Sichuan, Guangxi, and Manchuria, as well as in southeastern Russia and Japan. The wingspan of Pseudalbara parvula measures approximately 24 mm. The base colour of its forewings is mouse grey, with two white dots at the end of the cell. A dark line curves from the first of these white dots to the inner margin of the forewing. Two additional dark lines originate at the forewing apex. One of these lines descends with a slight curve to the outer angle of the wing, while the other extends to the centre of the inner margin. There is a small yellowish spot at the apex, which is bordered on the outside by black. The hindwings of the moth are brownish grey.
