Psammodromus occidentalis is a species of lizard that belongs to the family Lacertidae. This species is endemic to the Western Iberian Peninsula, which includes western Spain and Portugal. Prior to being formally described as a separate species in 2012, it was classified as the western lineage of Psammodromus hispanicus.
