Protographium leosthenes, commonly known as the four-barred swordtail, is a medium-sized butterfly species belonging to the family Papilionidae. This butterfly is native to Australia. It shares a similar appearance with the five-barred swordtail, also called the chain swordtail (Graphium aristeus), which can be found in both Australia and India. Its scientific name is Protographium leosthenes, first published by Doubleday in 1846.
