Pristurus rupestris (described by Blanford in 1874) is a species of gecko in the genus Pristurus. It has several common names: rock semaphore gecko, Blanford's semaphore gecko, and Persia rock gecko. This species occurs across parts of Arabia, Iran, Pakistan, Somalia, and Eritrea. It inhabits stony formations, most commonly in flat, hard, sandy, barren regions and gravelly plains. It can also be found in open, dry forest and bushland. Individuals can be located under stones, on building walls, and on beaches. This species reproduces by laying eggs.
