Pristimantis achatinus, commonly called the Cachabi robber frog or pastures rainfrog, is a species of frog belonging to the family Strabomantidae. This species has a distribution range that extends from eastern Panama, through Colombia, to western Ecuador. Its natural habitats include both lowland and montane environments; it can be found in forested areas, forest clearings, road cuts through forest, and banana, cacao, and coffee plantations. It is mostly a terrestrial species, though it can sometimes be found above ground in vegetation. Pristimantis achatinus is a very common frog species.
