Potamanthus luteus, commonly known as the Yellow Mayfly, is a species of hacklegilled burrower mayfly that belongs to the family Potamanthidae. According to Fauna Europaea, this species occurs across mainland Europe. In the United Kingdom, it has been found primarily along the Rivers Usk and Wye. It may already be extinct in the Usk, and its population has experienced a major decline in the Wye.
