Porcellio dilatatus, commonly called the Giant canyon isopod, is a species of woodlouse. It is classified in the genus Porcellio, which belongs to the family Porcellionidae. This species is widespread across Europe, and it has been introduced to North America from Western Europe. Adult individuals of this species reach 15 millimetres (0.59 in) in length, and are brown with striped coloration. Like most woodlice, Porcellio dilatatus are saprophages that feed on decaying organic matter, most commonly plant-based organic matter.
