Pontia helice, commonly known as the meadow white, is a butterfly species belonging to the family Pieridae. This butterfly is found in southern Africa. The wingspan of males ranges from 35 to 40 mm, while the wingspan of females ranges from 37 to 43 mm. This species is active year-round during its flight period. The larvae of Pontia helice feed on Heliophila species, Lobularia maritima, Lepidum capense, Rapistrum rugosum, and Reseda odorata.
