Polyploca ridens, commonly known as the frosted green, is a moth species belonging to the family Drepanidae. This species occurs in southern and central Europe, England, Denmark, southern Sweden, and extends eastward as far as Russia. The wingspan of adult Polyploca ridens measures 30 to 35 millimeters. The adult moth is active from April to May, with the flight period varying by location. The larvae of this moth feed on oak trees.
