About Polypedates iskandari Riyanto, Mumpuni & McGuire, 2011
This section describes the physical characteristics of Polypedates iskandari. The holotype, an adult male of the species, measures 44.5 mm (1.8 in) in snout–vent length. Its head is elongated, moderately wide, and roughly the same width as its body. Both the tympanum and the supra-tympanic fold are distinct. The fingers of Polypedates iskandari bear truncate or spatulate discs, and the toes are webbed. This species has lighter overall coloration than Polypedates leucomystax, and only faintly visible dorsal stripes. For habitat and elevation, the holotype was collected at 1,008 m (3,307 ft) above sea level, and the original species description does not include any additional ecological information about the species. Two calling males of the species have been recorded in a swamp area located 391 m (1,283 ft) above sea level. The maximum recorded elevation for the species is 1008 meters above sea level.
