About Podarcis tiliguerta (Gmelin, 1789)
Podarcis tiliguerta, commonly known as the Tyrrhenian wall lizard, is a species of lizard belonging to the family Lacertidae. This species is native to the islands of Corsica and Sardinia, as well as their surrounding associated islets. Currently, ten subspecies of the Tyrrhenian wall lizard are recognized. The natural habitats of Podarcis tiliguerta include temperate forests, temperate shrubland, Mediterranean-type shrubby vegetation, temperate grassland, rocky areas, sandy shores, arable land, pastureland, and rural gardens.
