About Pluteus readiarum G.Stev.

The cap of Pluteus readiarum G.Stev. is convex, and grows to 3โ€“3.5 cm (1.2โ€“1.4 in) in diameter. Its base colour is yellow-fawn, covered by a dark-brown velvety network of thread-like filaments. The mushroom's flesh is pale yellow-fawn. Its gills do not attach to the stem, are densely crowded, and are pink with whitish edges. The stipe (stem) measures 4 cm (1.6 in) long by 3โ€“4 mm (0.12โ€“0.16 in) thick. It is pale yellow with a grey tint at the upper end, and covered in fine, silky fibers. The base of the stipe is swollen into a bulb shape, and surrounded by fuzzy white mycelium. This species produces a pink spore print, and individual spores are 5 by 6 ฮผm in size.
