Pleurota aristella is a moth species classified in the family Oecophoraceae. It occurs across most of southern and central Europe, and also inhabits the Channel Islands. To the east, its distribution extends into the eastern portion of the Palearctic realm, and the species is also found in the Near East. The wingspan of adult moths ranges from 20 to 22 millimeters. The larvae of Pleurota aristella feed on a variety of low-growing plants.
