About Pleroma mutabile (Vell.) Triana

Pleroma mutabile (Vell.) Triana can grow up to 12 metres in height when grown in open ground. It has a short, slender trunk that can reach 14 inches in diameter. Its wood is sometimes harvested from the wild for use in furniture making. It is an ornamental tree that produces three-coloured flowers, and its non-invasive roots do not damage nearby structures, making it well-suited for urban landscaping. It is a very hardy tree that can also be grown in container gardens. While it can reach 12 metres tall under open growing conditions, a container will limit root growth space and restrict the tree's overall size when grown this way. This plant prefers full sun exposure, though it can tolerate a small amount of shade. It must be planted in well-drained soils that are rich in organic matter.
