About Plecturocebus toppini (Thomas, 1914)
Plecturocebus toppini, first described by Thomas in 1914, is a reddish-colored species. It differs from P. cupreus by having a tail that is both less fluffy and less whitish. This species has a broad distribution across Bolivia, Brazil, and Peru. Its known range lies east of the Urubamba River, is thought to extend west of the Ituxi River, and sits north of the Tambopata and Madre De Dios rivers. The exact boundaries of its full distribution are still uncertain.
