Plectotropis vulgivaga (Schmacker & O.Boettger, 1890) is a species of air-breathing land snail. It is a terrestrial pulmonate gastropod mollusk that belongs to the family Camaenidae. Snails of this species produce and use love darts during their mating behavior. Individuals of this species can act as hosts for sporocysts of Dicrocoelium. There are two recognized subspecies: Plectotropis vulgivaga lanx (Pilsbry, 1902) and Plectotropis vulgivaga vulgivaga (Schmacker & O. Boettger, 1890). This snail species is endemic to Japan.
