About Platymantis corrugatus (Duméril, 1853)

Platymantis corrugatus, commonly called the Philippine wrinkled ground frog or rough-back forest frog, is a species of frog in the family Ceratobatrachidae. This species is endemic to the Philippines, found across the entire Philippine archipelago with the exception of Palawan. Its confirmed range specifically includes the islands of Luzon, Mindoro, Leyte, Samar, Siquijor, Bohol, Cebu, Negros, Panay, and Mindanao. Its natural habitats are tropical moist lowland forest, and subtropical or tropical moist montane forest. It is currently threatened by habitat loss, and it is one of the most common species of the genus Platymantis found in the Philippines.
