About Placochilus seladonicus (Fallen, 1807)

Placochilus seladonicus, originally described by Fallen in 1807, can reach a body length of approximately 5 millimetres (0.20 in). These small mirid bugs have a dull body colored whitish blue or gray green, and feature large eyes. This species occurs across most of Europe. It inhabits dry meadows, roadsides, areas with tall grassy vegetation, and locations where its preferred host plants grow.
