About Pimelea longifolia Banks & Sol. ex Wikstr.

Pimelea longifolia, commonly called long-leaved pimelea and tāranga, is a small shrub native to New Zealand. It occurs from coastal through to alpine environments, and is often found in open areas within or near forest, scrub, and rocky sites. Within New Zealand, tāranga specifically grows on clay banks in Auckland, Wellington, and the western part of the South Island.
