Physomerus grossipes (Fabricius, 1794) is brown in color, with black legs. Adult individuals grow to approximately 2 cm, or 0.79 inches, in length. Like other members of the Coreidae family, this species has an oval-shaped body, segmented antennae, a forewing membrane with numerous veins, a metathoracic stink gland, and enlarged hind tibia. This species is native to Southeast Asia. Its native distribution extends across Indonesia, Peninsular Malaysia, and India. It has since spread to additional regions, including Guam and Hawaii.
