About Phylloscopus plumbeitarsus Swinhoe, 1861
The two-barred warbler, with the scientific name Phylloscopus plumbeitarsus, is a species of bird in the leaf warbler family Phylloscopidae. This species was first formally described by Robert Swinhoe in 1861. It was previously grouped within the broader 'Old World warbler' assemblage. The two-barred warbler is closely related to the greenish warbler, and was formerly considered to be the same species as the greenish warbler. Its distribution range includes northern Mongolia, Manchuria, and southern Siberia. It is a migratory species. Both adult and juvenile two-barred warblers undergo a molt before the autumn migration each year.
