About Phylloscopus maculipennis (Blyth, 1867)
Ashy-throated warbler, with the scientific name Phylloscopus maculipennis, is a leaf warbler species that belongs to the family Phylloscopidae. This species was previously grouped together with other birds in the broader 'Old World warbler' assemblage. Its distribution covers the Himalayas, Yunnan, Northeast India, and northern Indochina. Its natural habitats are temperate forests, as well as subtropical or tropical moist lowland forests.
