About Phylloscopus affinis (Tickell, 1833)
Tickell's leaf warbler, with the scientific name Phylloscopus affinis (Tickell, 1833), is a species of leaf warbler that occurs in Asia, specifically in Bangladesh, Bhutan, China, India, Myanmar, Nepal, Pakistan, and Thailand. This species has a yellowish underside and a yellowish supercilium. Like other leaf warblers, it feeds primarily on insects through gleaning and making short sallies after prey. It is an active bird that favors tree canopies and low shrubbery. Because it moves constantly and quickly from branch to branch, exploring the undersides of leaves and twigs in acrobatic fashion, it can be hard to track. It can be distinguished from similar species by its clear yellowish undersides and the absence of a wing bar. It also has slim dark legs, a mostly pale lower mandible, and a grayish wing panel.
