About Phyllidiella rudmani Brunckhorst, 1993

This species of nudibranch, Phyllidiella rudmani, has a pale pink dorsal surface covered in tubercles that have white tips. Two narrow straight black lines run between the tubercles, and these lines join together at the tail of the animal. Its rhinophores are black, with a pink-colored base. Phyllidiella rudmani was originally described based on specimens collected from Papua New Guinea. Additional confirmed specimens of this species have been found in Fiji, the Solomon Islands, Taiwan, Thailand, and the Great Barrier Reef located in Queensland. It has also been reported to occur in the Maldives and Sulawesi.
