About Phyllidia polkadotsa Brunckhorst, 1993

This species of nudibranch, formally named Phyllidia polkadotsa Brunckhorst, 1993, has a yellow or orange dorsum covered in large, round black spots. Each black spot is encircled by a paler, translucent ring. Three longitudinal ridges run along its back, and small tubercles are scattered across its body. This species was first described from specimens collected in the Hawaiian Islands.
