About Phycella cyrtanthoides (Sims) Lindl.

Phycella cyrtanthoides, commonly called Añañuca de Fuego, is a flowering plant species that belongs to the Amaryllidaceae family. It is a bulbous geophyte that is endemic to central Chile. In Chile, this species is most commonly known simply as añañuca, and the star Gliese 367 is named after this plant. The common name añañuca is also used for other related species, including Zephyranthes phycelloides and Paposoa laeta.
