About Phryxus caicus Cramer, 1777

Forewings of Phryxus caicus measure 33–37 mm in length. In regions south of Florida, adults are most commonly encountered from August to November, though they can be found throughout the year. This species occurs in the Neotropical region, and individuals have also been recorded from southern Florida and South Carolina.
