Auber's ameiva, scientifically named Pholidoscelis auberi, is also commonly called the Cuban ameiva. It is a species of lizard belonging to the family Teiidae. This species is native to Cuba and the Bahamas. Currently, 40 subspecies of Pholidoscelis auberi are recognized. Its preferred natural habitats are shrubland and forest. Pholidoscelis auberi reproduces by laying eggs, meaning it is oviparous.
