Pholidoptera littoralis is an insect species that belongs to the subfamily Tettigoniinae of the family Tettigoniidae. Its distribution extends from Greece across much of the Balkan Peninsula, through the Italian Alpine foothills, Switzerland and Austria, to Germany, the Czech Republic, Poland and Slovakia. It is less common in the eastern portion of its range: Germany, the Czech Republic, Poland and Slovakia.
