Philautus aurifasciatus is a species of frog belonging to the family Rhacophoridae. This species is endemic to Indonesia. It has only been observed at elevations above 900 meters above sea level, and it inhabits montane and submontane forests. It is currently classified as Least Concern on the IUCN Red List, due to its large range that includes protected areas. This frog lays its eggs in tree holes, and its young develop directly from the egg stage with no free-swimming tadpole phase.
