Phelsuma abbotti Stejneger, 1893, commonly called Abbott's day gecko, Aldabra day gecko, or Assumption day gecko, is a species of lizard belonging to the Gekkonidae family. This species occurs in Madagascar and the Seychelles. Its natural habitats include subtropical or tropical dry forests, subtropical or tropical moist lowland forests, subtropical or tropical mangrove forests, and subtropical or tropical dry shrubland. It can also be found in rural gardens, urban areas, and introduced vegetation. Phelsuma abbotti reproduces via oviparity.
