Phaseolus filiformis Benth. is a species of wild bean native to the southwestern United States and northern Mexico. Its common names are slimjim bean, slender-stem bean, Wright's Limabean, and Wright's phaseolus. This plant has a similar appearance to other beans, with leaves made up of lobed triangular leaflets and pink flowers that have the characteristic pea-like shape. Its small bean pods measure 2.5 to 3.5 centimeters in length, and less than 1 centimeter in width.
