Phalera bucephaloides is a moth species belonging to the family Notodontidae. It was first described by Ferdinand Ochsenheimer in 1810. This moth is found in Europe, specifically in areas south of Tyrol, Hungary, and the Balkans. Its wingspan measures between 23 and 27 mm. Adult moths are active in flight from May through August. The larvae of Phalera bucephaloides feed on plant species from the genus Quercus, as well as on Arbutus unedo.
