Phacelia floribunda is an annual herb that grows a branching, erect stem reaching a maximum height of 60 centimeters. Its overall texture is glandular and hairy. Its leaves can grow up to 18 centimeters long, and are divided into multiple leaflets with lobed edges. It produces a hairy inflorescence that forms a one-sided curving or coiling cyme made up of bell-shaped flowers. Each flower is less than one centimeter long, and has a purple or bluish color.
