About Phacelia ciliata Benth.
Phacelia ciliata Benth. is an annual herb that grows erect, reaching a maximum height of around half a meter. Its stem, which can be branching or unbranched, is glandular and covered in light hairs. The leaves are oblong or oval, and can grow up to 15 centimeters long. Larger leaves are divided into lobed or toothed leaflets. The plant's inflorescence is a one-sided curving or coiling cyme that holds many individual flowers. Each flower is funnel- or bell-shaped, with deeply veined sepals lined with hairs, and a blue corolla with a pale-colored throat.
