Peucetia lucasi is a species of lynx spider belonging to the family Oxyopidae. Its common name is the Madagascar green lynx spider. This spider species is distributed across several African countries and islands. Confirmed locations for Peucetia lucasi include Botswana, South Africa, Comoros, Mayotte, and Madagascar. Within South Africa, the species has only been recorded in Limpopo province, specifically in Welgevonden Nature Reserve. It lives in the Savanna biome at an altitude of approximately 1,435 meters above sea level. Peucetia lucasi is a free-living plant-dwelling species that lives on vegetation.
