Petroscirtes mitratus Rüppell, 1830 is a species of combtooth blenny. It is commonly known by multiple common names: the floral blenny, floral fangblenny, helmeted blenny, and crested sabretooth blenny. This species is found living on coral reefs in the Pacific and Indian Oceans. It reaches a maximum total length of 8.5 centimetres, which is equal to 3.3 inches. It is the designated type species of the genus Petroscirtes.
