Petroscirtes breviceps (Valenciennes, 1836) has multiple common names: the striped poison-fang blenny mimic, striped fangblenny mimic, short-head sabretooth blenny, short-headed blenny, sabretooth blenny, and black-banded blenny. It is a species of combtooth blenny that lives in coral reefs of the western Pacific and Indian Ocean. This species grows to a maximum standard length of 11 centimetres (4.3 inches).
