Scientific name: Petalura litorea Theischinger, 1999. Petalura litorea, commonly known as the coastal petaltail, is an endangered Australian dragonfly species belonging to the family Petaluridae. This species is native to south-eastern Queensland. It prefers swampland with dense thick vegetation, and often resides on sword grass. The species is currently recorded as an endangered species on the New South Wales government Endangered Species listing.
