Only one species was known within the genus Myripnois, currently classified as Pertya dioica (Bunge) S.E.Freire. This species is native to China, where it occurs in the provinces of Hebei, Shaanxi, Shandong, Hubei, Henan, Heilongjiang, Jilin, and Liaoning.
