About Pero meskaria (Packard, 1876)
Pero meskaria, commonly known as Meske's pero moth, is a species of moth that belongs to the Geometridae family, also called geometrid moths. This species was first described by Alpheus Spring Packard in 1876. It is native to North America, with recorded distributions ranging from southern Texas west to California, and extending east through Nevada, Utah and western Colorado. The forewings of adult moths measure 13 to 16 mm in length. The larvae of Pero meskaria feed on Clematis drummondii.
