Peridea angulosa, commonly known as the angulose prominent, is a moth species belonging to the family Notodontidae. This species was first formally described by James Edward Smith in 1797. Its distribution extends from southern Canada, southward to Florida, and westward to Texas. The wingspan of adult moths ranges from 35 to 45 mm. Adults can be found in flight from May through August. The larvae of this moth feed on plants belonging to the Quercus genus.
