About Pericallis malvifolia (L'Hér.) B.Nord.

Pericallis malvifolia, (L'Hér.) B.Nord., is a flowering plant species belonging to the daisy family Asteraceae. This species is endemic to the Azores. It grows in coastal cliffs, ravines, and the interiors of craters. On the Azorean island of Santa Maria, it also grows along roadsides and in woodlands of Pittosporum undulatum. Its range spans from sea level up to approximately 900 meters, which equals 3,000 feet, in elevation. It can be found on the Azorean islands of Santa Maria, São Miguel, São Jorge, Pico, and Faial.
